It’s been a while, but I broke out my 50mm f/1.4 the other day. I had forgotten how much I had missed this lens ‘til I started playing around with it again— the milky soft bokeh and the rapid shutter speed. I want to try and start doing photo weeks where I only use one lens for the entire week to truly adapt myself to the functionality of that lens. I’m just afraid that with each excursion, I’ll have photo opportunities that are missed; either because I don’t have my wide angle to capture a certain landscape, or my telephoto to bring me closer to my subject. I guess I’ll just have to try it to see how it goes.
