So much talent in such a little package— Francesca Mateo, an amazing artist and designer, and I came together to play with some KAWS inspired photos.  Just having some fun, but this girl is an inspiration all by herself. Check out some of her designs at Empire in the Air.

KAWS manages to fuse imagination with reality, drawing a line between the two so thin your imagination becomes reality, using his notorious and distinct x’ed eyed monsters.  So inclined to do the same, here is a product of such inspiring work.

Is there a deep meaning in that statement? No. Just felt like stating the purpose of my happiness right now.

Back to more purposeful content…

Christopher and I simply wanted to mess around with KAWS’ reality vs. imagination concept but after looking at more of KAWS’ work and brainstorming, we decided that the next time we approach this mash-up, we will with more objectives. I would like to call this attempt “round 1.” We have a good pocketful of ideas for the future— it’s all a matter of finding the time to do so. 

For now, enjoy a sunflower.
